[OCF]cluster event notification api?

Hi folks,
I'm looking around for a nice event notification api,
and I couldn't help but notice

and the sample implementation of the 0.3 version of the spec at

I have a number of comments on the proposed API
(e.g. "why the heck do you need oc_ev_event_done()?").

Is this API is seeing any interest, or are people using something else?
Doesn't look like it made it into
http://www.osdl.org/docs/carrier_grade_linux_requirements_definition___version_20.pdf
It touches on event notification in two sections:
CCM.1.5 seems to talk about AEM and TIPC,
and the deferred CSV.ev talks about AEM.
