Hm, have you tried to use "1" and "2" respectively? Does this change anything?
(It shouldn't, but I am asking anyway ;-)

This suggests you did not configure a node with 10.0.0.2 as one of the private
IP addresses, or that this IP isn't mapped to the correct hostname in
/etc/hosts.
