I'm not meaning to nit-pick, but the logs were ERRORs and WARNings and
would have ended up in /var/log/messages... so I'm still not  sure
what you mean here.

I think madkiss is one of the debian maintainers.
Anyway, they're about as "official" as its gets for pacemaker packages
on debian.
