In your kernel network setup, you should have Fibre Channel driver support
(CONFIG_NET_FC). Set it to yes.
Some drivers (ex. Qlogic ones) will build a network driver for your hba.
Load it, you'll get a fibre channel network device (something like fc0).
Then you can assign IP addresses and ping between them.
