So, I compile successfully Heartbeat 2.0.0 on Solaris 9 (with ConfigureMe).

But, Alan, why did you say that ipfail doesn't yet do anything useful ?

Because i try to test link detection failure and that doesn't work.
Swith between 2 node is Ok, when i stop heartbeat for example... but if i unplug
my eth0... nothing... log say ;

heartbeat[2614]: 2005/08/16_16:16:23 WARN: node 10.239.55.1: is dead
heartbeat[2614]: 2005/08/16_16:16:23 info: Link 10.239.55.1:10.239.55.1 dead.
harc[3046]:     2005/08/16_16:16:23 info: Running
/usr/local/heartbeat2/etc/ha.d/rc.d/status status

and stop here... nothing else.. no switch ? why ?
when i plug the eth0 log say ;
heartbeat[2614]: 2005/08/16_16:20:20 info: Link 10.239.55.1:10.239.55.1 up.
heartbeat[2614]: 2005/08/16_16:20:20 WARN: Late heartbeat: Node 10.239.55.1:
interval 267280 ms
heartbeat[2614]: 2005/08/16_16:20:20 info: Status update for node 10.239.55.1:
status ping

I try to configure with ipfail... same thing... like in 1.2.3 version.

Ipfail doesn't seems to work.
/usr/local/heartbeat2/etc/ha.d/rc.d/status status  return nothing.
and
cl_status return nothing too..

Thanks

Yann

Versions very close to 2.0.0 have been compiled on some version of
Solaris < 10.

Solaris 10 has problems.

With release 2.0, ipfail doesn't yet do anything useful.
