Hi All,

I hope someone can help me; I really tried to search on the web, but no
success.

I have 2 nodes, HP DL380, and shared storage device (scsi , Raid5).

I have configured heartbeat version 2 and it works fine, but I have
problem in the following scenario:

When I disconnect one node - the second take over the first node's
resources, now when I restore the network connection to the first node -
then

The first node indeed take back it's resources but the second node do
not release the first node's resources, so they both have the same IP
address, and mount the same

Partition on the shared storage device.

I need to know what will be the best way to make sure that this scenario
will not happen and how to make sure the both nodes will not be able to
mount the same partition in the same time.

my ha.cf file:

debugfile /var/log/ha-debug

logfile /var/log/ha-log

logfacility     local0

keepalive 2

deadtime 30

warntime 10

initdead 120

udpport 694

bcast   eth1            # Linux

auto_failback on

node    gn-clust01

node    gn-clust02

ping 10.100.1.12

my haresources file:

gn-clust01 10.100.1.214 Filesystem::/dev/cciss/c0d1p4::/home::ext3 nfs
nfslock smb

gn-clust02 10.100.1.212 Filesystem::/dev/cciss/c0d1p3::/web::ext3 mysqld
httpd squid rrd

Thank You,

Shamir
