Hello all,
I'm a newbie and have been trying to get some test computers running apache
and heartbeat before moving a production setup into our datacenter (we're
trying to develop the skill set to remove all of our windows servers). I've
googled as much as I can think, and searched the archives of this list but
can't find a solution.
I'm trying to setup an Active/Active apache cluster, but have had problems.
>From what I could find the apache startup script that came with heartbeat in
debain was bad, so it was removed from the packages. Heartbeat now uses the
/etc/init.d/apache startup script. However, this script doesn't allow
multiple instances, or if it does, it won't take the arguments needed to
load from different httpd.conf files.
Can anyone help or point me in the right direction for the correct way to do
this? Remember I'm a newbie and trying to wean myself from windows (so
speak really slow, because I'm not quick on the uptake :-) ).
