I think you should follow Lars' original advice. 0.7pre is not production
quality, and Lars Ellenberg has been working diligently to make it work
It sounds like you checked out a tagged version. I think Lars was talking
about an untagged version. If so, (and assuming I also understood l.g.e.
correctly), you may want to grab the latest version instead.
Please understand that the problems he's been working on are serious ones,
not trivial ones. And, even so, I don't think the 0.7 bugs are all fixed.
