I think at this point that most people on this list use ReiserFS for this
purpose - just because it's been around longer.  Ext3 is obviously designed
for this purpose, but I haven't tried it myself yet.

I don't have any experience with Piranha.  I also don't know your
application.  Some people who install heartbeat add Mon to the mix, and some
don't.  Hopefully in the near future, most of what people use Mon for will
be done more directly by heartbeat.

I would suggest reading the linux-ha archives, and the linux-ha-dev
archives, since this topic comes up fairly often.
