linux-ha is not a heartbeat only mailing list; and if someone is asking for
"How do I add feature XY to Open Source project foo", and I know that it is
kind of difficult to add to foo cleanly at this point in time, while project
bar supports it just fine, I think pointing it out is a useful thing to do.
They might not have known about it afterall.
heartbeat is very nice for some applications, and not so nice for other, more
complex scenarios. As I said, with OpenCF, we'll have to ultimate answer
within a year or three, but right now, we do have different feature sets ;-)
The idea to have a separate resource monitoring system, modularized with clear
interfaces and all, is definetely charming.
