You have to use (IP-addresses are just examples!!)
Host-A: eg. 193.80.99.5/24
Host-B: eg. 193.80.99.6/24
IP-Address of your cluser: eg. 193.80.99.7
Because every host has a route to the net 193.80.99.0/24
heartbeat will bring up eth0:0 as 193.80.99.7 on the
active host.
A plus of this is, that you can logon to both hosts no
matter which host is the master and owns the official IP
of your cluster.
