sorry, maybe he and I have the same interests, but wherever I look, I

seems like that. I've also looked at multicast for an alternative by
now, that's at least a bit better documented. I don't think it solves my
problem, though. I'm perfectly happy with the assumption that all parts
of the cluster will always live on the same lan.
