That is _exactly_ why the new BZ and list were set up.
Holding people hostage by threatening to revoke their access to the
project is completely unacceptable.
Alan has made plenty of such threats in the past and, in the case of
the mailing list, actually carried them out.
In such circumstances, creation of an independent project
infrastructure seemed prudent.

Indeed. Had any effort been made to at least acknowledge the bugs,
the change might have been excusable.
Maybe he just wanted his personal tally to reach 100 :-)
