Point taken.
The paths (as really needed) in a centralized location is good. It'd
also speed up the build.

Because it's heartbeat specific and contains a variety of legacy stuff
which none of the agents uses. I think it's only included for the
logging stuff.
I think that's also something which ought to be cleaned up.
