That again mixes a commit with a merge :-( Stuff like that makes our
history extremly tricky.

The last time this happened, we went through extreme pain to hunt down a
"missing" changeset. They fixed this in hg for us as to protect against
operator error, but that can only take effect if one actually updates
mercurial ... It's been several months if not a year.
