Education and Action Meeting




7 - 9 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2007

The Group Real Estate Office, 2803 E. Harmony Rd., Ft. Collins

(at the southeast corner of Harmony Rd. and Corbett, between S. Timberline
and Ziegler Rds.)







We will hear about and discuss:

* Update on the 208 Commission process and proposals submitted

* The remarkable success of our Colorado Health Services Single Payer
Proposal, which was named by the Lewin Group as the only proposal submitted
to them for evaluation by the 208 Commission which would cover all
Coloradans and save the state money

* The upcoming public hearings by the 208 Commission in Greeley (Oct. 11)
and Ft. Collins (Oct. 12)

* Our HCAC Single Payer marchers in the CSU Homecoming Parade Oct. 6

* Our continuing development of a network of citizen advocates who educate
our elected officials and the public about single payer

* CO Can: The opportunity Colorado has in 2007-2008 to lead the country in
bringing about a single payer financed health care system here

* How each of us can be part of the movement to MAKE IT HAPPEN!!
