Building a package of yum-notify.
Worked on his talk for NCLUG next week.
Rebooted her laptop 3 times. Played music. Annoyed skif. Got up to
10k RPMs on the powerball thingie.
Worked on junit. Again. Aledgedly.
Proved by assertion that the debian compromise would not have happened
had we used selinux.
e-mail, setting up webalizer
Mainly just GUI stuff. Ewwww. A lot of web searching.
Fought with udev and SCSI IDs. 10423 RPM on the powerball. The
powerball isn't a SCSI device.
Fixed the CSS on his site, got abused for having possibly compromised
his private GPG key.
Asked a few questions. Reported on Key Lime Pie reputations in FL. And
ordered a copy of: HackNotes(tm) Linux and Unix Security Portable
Reference [Paperback] by Nitesh. I browsed a copy in the Books a Million
store ($30) and it was a straightforward collection of tips and tricks
that would be fun to check out to get a sense about whether practical
security measures are really working on your systems. Online it was
less than $15 used (Amazon.com).
I find that a great part of the information I have was acquired by looking
up something and finding something else on the way. -- Franklin P. Adams
