it freaked out my video some.  Release of JOTWeb.

Tried STD-Knoppix and found it seemed to work fine.  Probed my firewall.
Played a little tetrinet.  Prepared installation of OB500-specific
kernel.

tonight I tried to download updated kernel source
and I tried to ssh into my newly debianed pc at home
Brought a 6-pack of water which we appreciated.
