[ENBD] 2.4.32 write & m_r problem

hi,

I observe problems when writing to an enbd device (2.4.32 as currently
on the web) together with merge_requests. if I switch m_r on, enbd-test
reports errors. maybe these are the same errors I encountered when I tried
O_DIRECT (and blamed it wrongly).

I guess this has something to do with write alignment (which made writing
sifgnificantly faster, btw).
