Well, that's a relief, in a way. I don't have to worry about that
mechanism. OTOH, it means that xfs is not relying on the new kernel
mechanism for enforcing request ordering in order to enforce request
ordering.
What IS it relying on? Without it it can't possibly know what the
driver has really sent "to disk" in what order. All it knows is that
the driver handled the requests it sent, not when.
