[ENBD] md5sum switch

hi peter,

is it possible to switch off the md5 sum calculation in a more elegant way
than setting the thresholds to values that prevent the summing ever to
start, at least in the near future (like off=1, on=1000000000)?

I saw that there is a sysctl for md5sum. I can set it to 0 or 1 and it
doesn't make a difference. also, if I start the client without -m the
md5 summing starts. it shouldn't do this, should it?

I have to admit I did not look into the code myself yet, I thought it
might save some time to ask you first ;-)
