[ENBD] 2.5.46 update

2.5.46 won't boot on my laptop. Acts like it doesn't have ext2 support
compiled in. All OK up till mounting root fs (partition tables and
everything).

It does have ext2. I started by oldconfigíng my working 2.5.44 setup.

  CONFIG_EXT2_FS=y
  CONFIG_EXT2_FS_XATTR=y
  # CONFIG_EXT2_FS_POSIX_ACL is not set

Strange. Are we supposed to be using initrd? It looked as though I
couldn't get rid of it in the config.
