[ENBD] Protocol problem (RCVTIMEO failed) with nbd-2.2.29...

Dear Sir/Madam,

I just recently installed nbd-2.2.29 onto my machine with Kernel version 
2.2.18.

But I encountered the following error when trying to start the server:

[root@u577 tmp]./nbd-server 1234 /dev/sdn2
[root@u577 tmp]# nbd-server: warning: setsockopt RCVTIMEO failed with 
Protocol not available
nbd-server: manager set signal handlers
nbd-server: server closing port #1234

Should I install some additional protocols other than TCP/IP?  Are there 
some options I need to select in the Kernel Build?
