[ENBD] kernel message "non existant block device"

OK, I've looked at the text. Thanks! It shows a boot on a 700MHz single
P3 with an intel eepro100 NIC. There is no oops and the nbd module is
loaded (one time only). There are also no kernel messsages saying
that there has been an error, whether from nbd or anything else, so you
are possibly confused about which machine you are working on? That
would be consistent with the nbd device saying (from /proc) that it has
not been accessed at all. Are you perhaps inadvertently working on the
server machine, not the client machine?
